This session is aimed at those starting out in the IBM i and IBM Power world.  Whether students looking for the first step into their career, or those considering a change of direction.  Join us for an interactive session for an introduction on the opportunities available for a career on IBM Power and IBM i, the typical roles and the qualifications required for each role and some advice on where to start.  The session is led by Steve Cast, who started his career as an IBM developer on the System/36, back in 1985 and is now the owner of two companies, IT Director for an international group and of course the voluntary Marketing Director at the i-UG.  Steve will be joined by other speakers who will share their insights and advice on their own career paths, highlighting opportunities available and suggesting what options are available.
