In this session, I will give you a rundown of some of the new features that I personally love in IBM i 7.5 . IBM i 7.5 is new to us all but I’m one of the lucky few who have been using this new version for a little while as part of the Early Ship Test Program. So, I will share some of the things that I really like about this new release and explain how they might be useful to you. I’ll also share my experience of installing it, upgrading to it and patching it.

Some of these new functions are big, some small but all are beneficial. Even if you are not in a position to upgrade to IBM i 7.5 right now, many have been PTF’d back to 7.4 and some 7.3 so they are  still worth knowing about.
